Gradual introduction of the bwGitLab service
The service bwGitLab currently is in the open beta phase. The following notes apply:
- No guarantees for availability of the service
- User data will be migrated by us on a best effort basis (in case of a potential migration)
- Group/Repo names might get renamed
- Only on-site backups (off-site backups are planned)
- Some workflows/policies might still be subject to change
- Data protection aspects are not addressed comprehensively so far.
Therefore, no sensitive data may be transferred to the service at the current status.
It is not clear today what restrictions and limitations due to data protection will be necessary for the productive service in the future. - There might be periods with longer than usual user support responses.
