Page refresh by browser required to show entries in (drop-down) lists

In different situations, a page refresh is necessary, to show the entries in a list, inter, alia:

• "Move Storage" view of the dataset: The list of resources is often empty, requiring a page refresh. This issue occurs in both the project view and the datasets list view.
• "Dataset Creation": The list of resources assigned to the project is empty and entries are also not found by typing their names; they only show up once a page refresh has been performed

It appears to be a more general issue/bug.
